• RJ funds will cover admission and skates for up to 70 people. Please bring money for food from the snack bar, as they do not allow outside food other than cake. We will open this up to the RJ community and their family members.

Rhubarb Jam will begin our 6th season of living and learning in just a few short weeks.

Rhubarb Jam (RJ) is a community of homeschooling families who have come together to coordinate opportunities for people of all ages to share knowledge, educational, social and economic resources. We are an eclectic, secular, and inclusive group of families from Frederick, Montgomery, and other counties. We value fun, learning of all types, independence and cooperation.

RJ is now meeting in two locations on two days of the week. On Tuesdays, we meet in Braddock Heights, and Thursdays in Germantown. Membership to RJ is only $35 per month/per family and includes both days/both locations! A great value!

Want to learn more about RJ, and see if it’s right for your family? Join us at one or both open houses that will be held August 24 at the Braddock Community Park (Schley Ave. in Braddock Heights near the pool and community center), and August 26 in Germantown at our host location, the Sugarloaf Congregation of Unitarian Universalists, (map and directions: http://scuu.org/map.html). We will meet from 11-2. Please bring a picnic lunch.
