Rhubarb Jam - A Homeschool Community

Rhubarb Jam School

Students giving final report in US History

Rhubarb Jam is pleased to offer

a variety of classes for it's members to participate in. Every Tuesday and Thursday during the school year, we gather as a group and hold of classes for both kids and adults. Any member of RJ can contribute and share anything of interest to them.

In the past these classes have ranged

from learning about Ancient Egyptian society by mummifying fruit to learning how to design web page utilizing the Photoshop program. We have held music classes: Rock History Survey and Beginning Recorder; language arts: Beginning Spanish, Hebrew and Sign Language; math: Family Math and Algebra; and art: Nature Crafts, still life drawing and knitting. We also have an organized preschool playtime for the youngest members.

This is just a small sampling.

We have also brought in presenters if the membership expresses an interest in a topic. We have had one day seminars of outdoor animals, and week long camps on Ancestral Knowledge.

This is a marvelous way for us to gather

as a community and share our talents and friendships. Below is a more complete listing of past offerings. Please contact us if you wish to receive more information.
